New ComBaCaL publication in “Nature Medicine” 

The randomized controlled trial nested within the ComBaCaL main cohort demonstrates that empowering Community Health Workers with digital clinical decision support systems enables the safe and effective management of uncomplicated arterial hypertension among individuals with uncontrolled blood pressure in rural Lesotho. This taskshifted, digitally supported approach has the potential to help close the noncommunicable disease treatment gap in many low and middleincome settings.
